Carla is a social worker and psychotherapist in private practice in Providence who has worked in women's mental health throughout her career. She came to Providence to attend Brown University and moved back 28 years ago to build her career and raise her children. PVDPERIOD. is the product of her desire to have a positive impact on her community and has been an exciting opportunity to collaborate with two young professional women who share this passion.
Malina currently lives in Wakefield, MA but was born and raised in Providence. She attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) for her BS in Civil Engineering and received her MS in Energy Systems from Northeastern University. Malina is currently a R&D Performance Engineer for a renewable energy company. She has always strived to provide a positive impact on her community and has embraced the opportunity to be a part of PVDPERIOD. with her mom, Carla. In her free time, Malina enjoys working out and hiking in New Hampshire.
Tess lives in Brooklyn, NY and works at The Acceleration Project (TAP) as Chief of Staff. She graduated from Northeastern University with a B.S in Business Administration in 2019. During her time at Northeastern, she participated in Strong Women Strong Girls, a mentoring organization for young girls in the Boston community. She has always had a passion for supporting female empowerment and positively impacting the community. Originally from the Boston area, Tess enjoys watching Boston sports in her free time and cooking her family's traditional Italian dishes!
